Last of the BrothersI had gotten out of the car and walked into the cementary where it was raining I had come here to see the family members I had lost. I walked up to my older brother Nicholas or Nicky as I called him I kneeled down by his gravestone which read:
Nicholas F. D'Amico
Born: May 14th 1950
Died: September 13th 1960
He was my oldest brother and was supposed to take over the family business after my father retired from being mob boss. He wasn't alive for very long, he was a boy with dark brown hair and blue eyes he was a very gentle caring older brother who loved me very much, but one day he got very sick and he wasn't getting any better. My parents took him to the doctor where he was diagnosed with leukemia. He continued to play with me and other siblings I didn't even understand he was sick and dying he seemed okay to me.
One day he was laughing and reading me a book he kissed me goodbye and said 'Good bye Tony I love you I need to go to the hospital to get my medicine to make me better.' Tho
